What can I do before calling someone to fix my system?
At Dean Family Service we want to save you money, here are some things you can check before making an appointment

• Disconnect your indoor and outdoor switches.
• Make sure your circuit breakers are in the ON position.
• Reset circuit breakers for Air Handler and Condensing unit
• Make sure your filters are clean.
• Open supply and return vents and make sure they are unobstructed.
• Double check both indoor and outdoor disconnect switches.
• Check the settings on your thermostat.
  • Make sure the system switch is on the appropriate COOL setting.
  • Make sure your set on auto for Air Conditioning, or on for fan only.

Most importantly after you have taken the steps provided in this section, and your unit still isn't functioning correctly - SHUT IT DOWN.  Call Dean Family Service immediately for repair.  Running your unit low on Freon, or without all motors running can severely damage your equipment beyond repair!!
